7th Edition of the “Alma da Voz” Festival
The 2026 edition of the "Alma da Voz" International Choir Festival will take place on April 17th, 18th, and 19th, two weekends after Easter and immediately before the national holiday on April 25th, a perfect opportunity to enjoy choral music and the beauty of the city of Almada. In 2026, the festival will host up to 20 choirs.

PROGRAM

APRIL
The OPENING CONCERTS will take place in the evening, across five different venues in the municipality of Almada. Each venue will host four choirs.
18
APRIL
A NEW ROUND OF CONCERTS will be held in the same five venues during the afternoon, with a different lineup, allowing all groups to experience diverse settings and audiences.
In the evening, the traditional GALA DINNER will take place at Inatel in Costa da Caparica, a special moment for celebration among participants.

APRIL
The festival culminates with the GRAND CLOSING CONCERT, featuring the participation of an orchestra or philharmonic band and a university tuna, further enriching the musical and cultural experience.
Registrations
The 2026 edition will host up to 20 choirs
Application
Choirs should submit their application to festivalalmadavoz@gmail.com including:
- Choir name
- Number of singers
- Country of origin
- Contact details (email, phone number, address)
- Name of the conductor
- Name of the director or person responsible for the choir
SELECTION
The organizers will notify the selected choirs in due time.
The selection of the 20 choirs will aim to achieve the greatest possible diversity in terms of countries, types of music, and levels of choir development.
PREPARATION
By 15-02-2026: Each participating group must inform the organizers of the number of people attending the Gala Dinner on Saturday, April 18th, at Inatel in Costa da Caparica. The cost is €30 per person.
By 28-02-2026: Each participating group must complete payment for all its members, sending proof of payment and the final list of attendees to festivalalmadavoz@gmail.com
By 13-03-2026: The organizers will send all participating groups the concert venues and schedules.
